get_iplayer 2020 Unexpected size for file segment [128] repeated error

Attempting to download from iPlayer I get repeated errors (screen cap from DOS box):

Inspector Montalbano - The Sense of Touch, BBC Four, b01f118x
INFO: 1 total programmes
WARNING: A UK TV licence is required to access BBC iPlayer TV content legally
INFO: Downloading tv: 'Inspector Montalbano - 07. The Sense of Touch (b01f118x) [original]'
INFO: Downloaded: 10.41 MB (00:00:15) @ 5.55 Mb/s (hvfhd1/bi) [audio+video]
WARNING: Unexpected size for file segment [128]
WARNING: Expected: 5126008  Downloaded: 2325427
WARNING: This indicates a problem with your network connection to the media server

Is get_iplayer version 3.26.0.  Do I go back to an earlier version to avoid this problem?
I did a speed test and get 38Mb down, 8Mb up. And don't have any problem elsewhere.

So is that an application that you are using, or a webpage? It sounds like an application.
What debugging have you done already? Have you tried the basics such as uninstalling and re-installing the application? Making sure the application is whitelisted in your firewall/antivirus?

@OP: take no notice of yahoos who know nothing of get_iplayer. It's indispensable but best reserved for the cognicenti.
I just checked out the file you're having trouble with, using 3.26.0 in highest quality and also using the --fps25 switch. I didn't let them complete (life's too short), but both proceeded well past the 10MB at which you encountered an error. So, no issue with iPlayer, I suspect. Have you tried other d/ls or downloading to a different destination folder? I don't know how you accessed the file, but you might try --pid b01f118x, which worked for me.

fopetesl is almost definitely referring to a command prompt window rather than the MS-DOS emulator.
Do any other programmes download correctly? Have you tried a different quality setting?
N.B. the BBC frown on iPlayer downloaders and often tweak things to break them...
