How to get a Ryanair cash refund - COVID flight cancellation

Apologies dear readers, my post above on 22 July, 10.20 pm is a fat finger job, in completely the wrong thread. So please ignore. I've reposted as a new thread Journey Beyond Rail Expeditions refusing refunds.

Thanks very much for this. 

I booked through Love Holidays and holiday was cancelled in March.  Love Holidays stated that I had to ask Ryanair directly for the refund that would then be paid to them and eventually be paid out to me.

I requested the refund months ago through Ryanair and they sent me a voucher stating that I had to contact them to request a cash refund.  It was impossible to do.  I have just typed cash refund in their chat bot and am now in the cash refund queue.

Thanks to georgec_b who started this thread with his very useful tip, I have finally received my refund from Ryanair.

This works!
I used ChatBot and typed cash refund into the box. Was asked to fill in details inc booking ref. Money now refunded to my credit card

22.08      used chatbot
28.08     received email notice of refund 
02.09      money credited to card

Just like that, I don't know why people have been moaning! I very much doubt you got your refund in 4hrs 1 min.

Thanks Barny1979,  it's from a March booking so I'd virtually given up hope of getting a refund at all!!
