We pulled into the spot further back and parked there, with the intention to go and move. They’ve not given us chance and have been verbally abusive towards us. I feel in the wrong, but also that a compromise could have been reached but they are unwilling.
any suggestions for how to proceed?

Talk to them - ring the bell and smile and accept no arguments - or pop a friendly letter in their door explaining that you only stop briefly due to being pregnant and find it difficult to pull further forward. This is best dealt with between you two as the very last thing to do is complain to whoever owns the driveways (freeholder? Housing Association?) because they might appoint a parking firm wihch is a complete nightmare for you and will ruin your life and finances.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

They’ve suggested I get dropped off and wait for my partner to park the car! If we were obstructing other people, I’d understand. But we’re not. It’s become a very difficult situation.0

complained to whom? Who owns the area where you parked? I would keep parking there if the owner hasn't complained or you are the owner.0

Complained to us. We own the parking spot marked by the white box. The rest is a shared driveway between all 4 houses. We’ve been parking on it where the circle indicates, as we felt we’re not obstructing anyone.0

Its not clear from the drawing whatnis what. But if you are parking on an area that isn't owned by them id be willing to get a little bit of verbal grief for it.0

Our property is marked in blue, as is our garage and parking space. Rest is shared driveway with properties marked B and C.
