I have an iPhone XR on Vodafone & paying £45 a month (I’ve been in the contract a year it’s a 24month contract)
However at our home the signal doesn’t work I either have 1 bar or none at all, so unless connected to the WiFi I literally can’t use my phone.

I’ve contacted Vodafone multiple times regarding this first I got we will knock £5 a month off your contract, then I’ve got “turn your FaceTime off, try 3G & 4G, try the sim in a different phone & reset the settings” all been done nothing changed.
Up until yesterday someone finally admitted when messaging Vodafone on Twitter that there is no way I can get signal at my house.
I’m due a baby in literally 6 week, my biggest concern is that if our TalkTalk WiFi goes down I can’t contact anyone (due to the appalling signal from Vodafone) this is causing me stress & anxiety thinking about it the WiFi goes down & something happens to me or the baby I can’t contact anyone.
Can someone point me in the right direction of what to do next or who to contact as Vodafone aren’t helping with this issue at all they are just happy me paying for a service what I can’t use.

Get a temporary sim for a network that works in your house as a safety measure .Networks don't guarantee a signal in every position in the UK .Take it signal and phone works in other locations .0

OP - I would assume that your TalkTalk internet comes down an Openreach line.
Surely just plugging a phone into it would give you the backup you require?0 -
As already stated , no mobile company guarantees 100% reception, merely that they have a certain percentage of the country covered , so for arguments sake if they say 97% coverage, and you happen to be in the 3% that they don’t , thats basically tough luck, although being wise after the event, you probably should have checked if the VF signal was usable at the address before contracting with them.
As already stated , if you have TT broadband , you should be able to plug a phone into it and make landline calls, if the line went down so no TT WiFi or landline service at all , and your mobile won’t work where you are , you may need a cheap disposable backup PAYG phone on a different network ( assuming there is coverage from another mobile provider ) assuming your current mobile won’t work with another company’s ‘sim’ in it .0 -
Problem solved. Theyve kindly sent me £135 to purchase a signal booster what should boost my original signal0
