Goodwill letter to Lowell email?

Hi I am about to write a goodwill letter to Lowell Financial to get a default removed from my credit file. A bit of background, the default which was settle in Feb last year was £11 for a final EE bill. Unfortunately I was not aware of the bill due to me being in hospital with a stroke. By the time I was out of hospital and got myself back to some kind of normal I noticed the letter from Lowell which I immediately paid. I am almost recovered and went back to work. I have now managed to save enough money to get on the property ladder but this default is in the way of me getting a low interest loan. I have written a letter but not sure what email to send it to. I will appreciate if anyone can assist with where to send this letter. I have a postal address but will love to send by all possible means.
Thank you
Thank you

I would save the cost of the stamp. They'll have no interest in removing the default now they've been paid and there would be little chance even if they hadn't.
Use a decent broker when it comes to applying for the mortgage. The default is 18 months old, for a small amount and settled, so you'll have options.2 -

Just an update, I managed to get an email address for Lowell and I got a reply saying they will get back to me. Not raising my hopes but keeping everything crossed

That's great to hear. I don't think I'd ever heard a positive story involving Lowell's - you must have caught someone on one of their good days. It shows that there's never a harm asking - even if the likely answer is no.Preface12 said:Pleased to say on checking my credit report tonight, lowell has kindly removed the default. I am chuffed.
