I know with Virgin if you have missed a programme (not available on catch up) you can go to previous days the listings and select to record a programme and it will record the programme the next time it is aired.
Can this be done with Sky ? If so how

TIA
Private Parking Tickets - Make sure you put your Subject Access Request in after 25th May 2018 - It's free & ask for everything, don't forget the DVLA :D

Can't go back past the current date/time on Sky unfortunately.
You can always search for the programme you missed and if it's on air in the next 7 days you can schedule to record that.

If its earlier the same day you can sometimes look at the online guide and it'll tell you if its available on demand, otherwise it can tell you in the episode listing if that episode is on in the next seven days and you can schedule that.

Movies don't tend to be on catch up.
