The car has been static for 3 months because they have been closed. They were perfectly fine with that. Doesn’t matter where the money comes from, a deposit was paid. Now she can’t do anything because she is waiting for the DVLA. The garage was quite happy to wait and for that to happen at the time. A pandemic closes most businesses and now its her fault !!! All I want them to do is stop harassing her and bullying her into something that she can’t do anything about and they were well aware of it. She has finance confirmed. All ready to go. What happened to “Be Kind” ?? Seems non existent with people these days!1

The finance co or the Garage
Why is "and feels pressurised by the garage to “ask for supervisors” at DVLA to speed her application up." an issue
If she is telling the garage she refuses to do instead this I am not surprised the garage are getting impatient.
I imagine that asking to talk to supervisors will be a waste of time but why not play the silly game that garage want.

You've only got £4295 outstanding. As said, your daughter's delay getting a license isn't the fault of the garage. They've held the car for her (when they could have sold it for her already) and it's likely cost them money.Deposits are generally not refundable, as that's the point of a deposit. If you don't want the car, they'll put it up for sale and will give you some money back at their discretion. Holding the price for her doesn't mean they'll hold the car.The most cost effective way to get out of this is to find another way to pay for the car she bought.0
