Odeon: "Exclusively for you - 50% off a Limitless membership"

Hi,
my wife had the Odeon Limitless card last year, but it expired. She now received an email with that offer (50% off, from £99), offer expiring 24/07. However, we're a bit suspicious, because on the Odeon homepage there's no mentioning of that offer, and it seems quite complicated to get the codes. First, one needs to create an Blue Light account on getme.codes and then go to book.serviceseats.com to receive a code which then can be used on the odeon/limitless homepage.
Email was sent from [email protected]
Do you know whether this is for real, or is it a scam?

Hmm, now I'm even more confused: If I click on the Blue Light Card link, I'm redirected directly to serviceseats.
And I've now found out that Blue Light Card and Serviceseats are for people working in the social sector, army, etc? My wife wouldn't qualify for this (although she starts a TEacher Training course in Sept, but not sure education counts here.?).0 -
Well, it's obviously not a scam.
You wouldn't see a targeted offer on the website, as it's a targeted offer.
There's a chance it's been sent to her in error, but no harm is signing up for it if she wants.1 -

I don't want to start a discussion about this, but if she doesn't qualify, the worry is that she might pay £99 and then not get the voucher in the end which would enable her to buy the cheap Limitless Card...
I've checked the email again, and they don't say anything about 'You need to be emergency service personnel' to qualify for this offer. Could it be that in this case, BLC just acts as a service provider for Odeon? (although it seems weird to make it so complicated...)0 -
Just to say that we did it and it seems that BlueLightCard/ServiceSeats for some reasons just acted as the middleman here. To get the voucher for the deal, we did not have to get a proper BLC, just an account so that we were able to go through ServiceSeats, and there was exactly this one offer in our account. After payment, they just directly sent the Voucher for the Odeon website. Thus, all seems to be fine and legit... No idea, why they made it that complicated.0
