Trips overlap with quarantine requirement

In January I booked two trips scheduled for later this year. There is a gap of only 7 days between returning from the first and departing for the second. The first destination currently requires that I quarantine for 14 days on my return to the UK. Does anyone have experience of a similar situation and, if so, can you give any feedback as to the travel insurance implications regarding the second trip? I.e. If the quarantine requirement doesn't change before I return from my first trip, how likely is it that I could claim for not being able to undertake the second trip?

When are these trips? The rules could change 5 times between now and then anyway.

First trip returns on 30th August and second trip departs on 6th September. As you say, the rules may well change and that's what I'm keeping my fingers crossed for. :-)

I guess you have to work out which of the two trips is more important because, at the moment, they seem to be mutually incompatible.

You can end your isolation to leave the UK. You will then have to isolate for 2 weeks again on your return from your second trip abroad.
