Who pays the scaffolding ,

Options
Hello, Having rendering replaced on front of house. My girlfriend claims that we have to pay the scaffolding direct (450£)and not the Rendering contractor including scaffolding in his price. Is this standard practice. Who pays the scaffolding?

I should add the Rendering is costing £ 3,100 for just the front of house. Should the scaffolding be included in that?

If the contractor has quoted to include the price of scaffolding, then you shouldn't be paying again for the scaffolding.
You do realise that if you are removing the old render from more than 25% of the building, you should be fitting wall insulation and having the work signed off by Building Control https://www.planningportal.co.uk/info/200130/common_projects/18/external_walls/2

For a price of £3,100, I would expect scaffolding to be included in the price - Check the original quote.

What does it say in the quote you have? What does your contractor say?
