Fulough, tax & NI & emploer- help please

Hi
I think I'm being stupid, and there is a logical answer!
I was put on furlough at the begining of April, and I went back to work 2 weeks ago. My employer paid 80% of my wages which was fine, and I was happy with the payments I received which had tax & NI deducted.
I've just been reading the Gov site about the furlough sceeme and it continually states the employer can claim back 80% of the wages and the NI & Tax (until next month)
So if I was being deducted tax & NI, and that went to the HMRC etc- which is fine. Was the employer also claiming these amounts back in the 80% furloughed wage, and what happened to my amount of tax & NI he was claiming back?
Hope I make sense and I'm sure there is areasonable answer- thank you!!!!

As far as I am aware, the employer can only claim back the 80% wages paid, along with the EMPLOYERS NI contribution.

Ah I have read it incorrectly, the employer is not claiming tax back then, and only their employer NI contribution and I pay my tax & my own NI contribution and pension?
    Thank you!

They can also claim pension employer cost, up to the £2,500 limit (or whatever the limit is now as it's reducing)

And if you are still employed at the end of Jan 21, your employer gets £1k to offset what s/he has paid in NI, pension and tax
