MIB hit and run claim

Hi All,
I was involved in a hit and run accident last year, where I was a cyclist hit by a driver who failed to stop and the police have never found. I have a solicitor who has put in a PI claim with the MIB as i have suffered a back injury (having ongoing physio) and PTSD. The MIB have arranged and conducted an independent report, and I had an independent medical examination last week.
I just wondered if anyone knows the sort of timescales the MIB go on from report to a decision being made?
Many Thanks in advance,

If you haven't fully recovered from your injuries what's the rush to claim?

Pre-covid experiences of timescales are going to be irrelevant.
