Have a flight on Tuesday from Larnaca booked with EasyJet, we are in North Cyprus and South Cyprus has closed the border between North and South Cyprus. EasyJet have closed all online communication, with the waiting time for them to answer a phone call costing .69p per min it could end up costing more than the flight. While we appreciate the border closure is not their problem we wanted to ask, as regular customer if they would provide us with a credit. Has anyone been able to contact Easyjet other than by phone please?

I think they will only provide a refund or credit voucher if they cancel your flight. You might be able to change your flight dates, which can be done on their website/app by logging into the booking. Change fees and fare difference may be charged.1

Indeed, you can do it all online. Pointless ringing them.0

Hi, myself and 6 adult members of my family have booked a holiday to Croatia from 12th to 19th September, 2020. As 5 members of the group have chronic/severe health problems, we have decided to postpone our trip until June, 2021. The villa have charged us an extra fee which we are ok with in the circumstances. However, Easyjet want to charge us £488.35 per person per flight. We originally paid £195.28 per person for return flights from Belfast International to Split via Direct Flights. This would mean a total of £8,203.86 for the flights alone. This is way over our original budget. Is there anything we can do about this? Thank you. Christine

If EasyJet are operating your flights next month then they don't owe you anything if you choose not to travel on the non-refundable flights you booked, but a quick squint on their website shows most of their flights between Belfast and Split next June seem to be about £50-100 each way, so you might find it cheaper to simply make a fresh booking rather than treating it as a change? Does the whole party have travel insurance that may reimburse cancellation costs due to health problems (if not pre-existing conditions)?Snel said:Hi, myself and 6 adult members of my family have booked a holiday to Croatia from 12th to 19th September, 2020. Thank you. That's good advice and I'll certainly look into that. Christine0
