I seem to have issues with these Notebook competition questions too often! IMO the answer should be 1944 (when the company was founded as per the question). But they brought the first of their BBQs to market in 1948. Good luck folks. I’ve given up trying to decide what answers Notebook Magazine ever want7

Linkedin says 1948
Most sources seem to say 1948. It is Wikipedia that says 1944 but that can't always be trusted. (Bloomberg says 2004)8 -
