Seiss grant noting being paid

Good morning, we are having massive issues regarding the grant being paid. My partner applied when told to do so back in May. We have called numerous times and escalated to tier two also on numerous times but still no payment. I have complained verbally and in writing but still no resolution. It is having a huge impact on us as our mortgage application for our first hone will not go through until they can see the grant in the bank account. Apparently complaints take 15 days but sadly the building company will pull out before then. Thanks for reading and any advice welcomed

Has the grant actually been approved for payment?  Or is it not being paid because your partner is not eligble?

Have HMRC said what the reason for the delay is?
Incorrect bank details or fraud checks etc? Did they apply themselves or did someone else submit a claim on their behalf?
You could try your MP as they should be able to escalate your case.
  • Hi thanks for your response, my partner applied himself and identification checks done about a month ago and all fine. I have emailed my local MP awaiting a response at the moment. Bank details clarified numerous times too. The response we always get is they don’t understand why it has not been paid. Thanks

Odd. Out of interest which bank are you trying to pay it into?
  • NatWest. This has been ongoing since 27th May. We do not know what to do next as we have exhaustive all options, thanks
