Hello folks we’re back from caravan hols. Short break but just so fab. Now someone asked me to report in and I can’t remember- was it Scarlet? The main changes were (obviously)to wear a mask if you went into reception (they had removed food etc so no longer a shop too), a good system for the toilets/ showers as there were 3 wrist bands in a tub of Milton. Take one and return to pot after. If no bands, queue. So, small number of people in there compared to facilities. I wanted to suss it out but just used our ‘van. I found being away relaxing. I did notice that people don’t stand and chat as much as usual. People smiled, said hello and kept their distance. We also ate out on the first night in beer garden. That was excellent.Ok that’s a lot of info 😁.RedRuby there’s a very good book called The Sleep Book by Dr Guy Meadows. It’s an interesting read and has some helpful advice.Gers, just lovely to read that your DM was up and dressed.Take care all x11

NAN the site where we keep our caravan sent a L-O-N-G list of new rules and regs when they were first allowed to open again. One regulation was they would not be opening the toilet and laundry block all season and vanners had to use their own facilities. DD was not best pleased when she and 3 girls will be there. She has visions of spending her whole break emptying the loo and filling up the water supply! It's much easier for the owners in the statics where they use their own facilities anyway. Someone said they had heard quite a lot of sites were keeping the facilities blocks closed as well. So if you are thinking of having a break when Mr Fixit is safe to do so I would check up on the site you use if this is important to you. x"If you dream alone it will remain just a dream.
