I'm using Home Legal Direct they seem to have had good reviews and so far they've been very cooperative.

I’m currently using Muve and I’m impressed with them so far. Most of the communication is online/email which suits me. You have to physically sign and post some original docs. There is an online portal to track the progress and you have a dedicated person to talk to.

I used Premier Property Lawyers (estate agent branded) and they were fine for me, but a few people don't like them so I guess it depends on who's handling your case.

As others have said, there are still a couple of documents that have to be physically signed, witnessed and posted but most of it is uploaded on their online portal. You also get a nice app that shows your progress and also shows when emails have been sent between solicitors, estate agents etc. so you have a good idea what's going on.

How much are you going to save ?
I have used a couple of local high street solicitors in the last 10 years and been happy with the service.
Had my own solicitor who helped us sort the selling and buying process and always ready to give legal advice if required.

I'm presently using Premier Property Lawyers as recommended by my EA. I can't fault the lady whose dealing with my house sale at all. All enquiries received from my buyers solicitors are being dealt with and responded to within 24hrs. Also they work weekends which is a bonus. On the other hand my buyers high street solicitors have been taking 2 weeks before sending new enquiries or reponding to my solicitor when chasing them up.

For my sale with no purchase I'm using Enact as they were excellent for my remortgage a few years ago, can strongly recommend them (as others have said, some things have to be posted e.g. wet signatures and original IDs).
