Flight still going to USA

Hi
So we are booked on BA flights to San Francisco on 22nd August. FCO advice preventing non essential travel likely to still be in place plus 14 day quarantine either side of trip. Flights are unlikely to be cancelled as that flight has been running daily. Trip was a one off. 3 weeks in america with sons fitted into break between A levels, uni and my other son joining thr navy. We won't be able to rebook this holiday in next 12-18 mths. Insurance won't pay put if vouchers are offered. Are we stuck with accepting vouchers?

Unless the flight is cancelled, vouchers appear to be the only option. They do not need to be used for the same holiday, you could pick a different holiday0

If the flight goes and insurance won’t help then yes it’ll have to be the vouchers, sorry.0

Why will insurance not pay?0

Presumably because the flight is still going, this is the usual stance of insurers.StandingInTheSun said:Why will insurance not pay?0 -
Although many policies will cover if FCO guidance is against travel, a number of insurers are taking the position that the offer a voucher means there is no loss...there are a number of "insurance won't pay as I have been offered a voucher" threadsStandingInTheSun said:Why will insurance not pay?0
