Aer Lingus / Coverwise AXA

We have flights to USA booked for September. Looks like we won’t be going due to FCO and US regulations. Airline is still flying so won’t offer refund. Given option to book at later date ! They said contact insurance. AXA say they won’t honour the claim?! Very frustrating situation for us. Any advice will be greatly received.

Take the future flight option.1

The flights are for September? Don't jump the gun yet. Aer Lingus are cancelling flights VERY late. As a matter of fact we never even received an email our Dublin-Washington flight was cancelled - had to contact them on Twitter!
From my experience Aer Lingus have been one of the worst airlines this pandemic so you have my sympathy, but my advice is hold off until nearer the time.1
