Easyjet refunds

hi I'm new to the forum, so here we go.
I was due to travel to Prague on May 7, via Easyjet. The flights got cancelled on May 4th due to COVID.
The hotel refunded straight away, but my travel agent says it takes Easyjet 8 weeks to refund, its now almost 10 weeks and still nothing. Although the travel agent tells me they are waiting on all Easyjet refunds to be issued.
While I sympathise with airlines in the current crisis, im not so sympathetic when they still have £1000 of my money.
Is anyone else having similar issues, why is it taking so long?

Because you didn't book directly with easyJet.
easyJet may refund In 8 weeks but then you have got an additional wait while your agent verify who the refund is for and then action their refund to you . Could take them another 8 weeks on topEx forum ambassador
