Onto my fourth repair - what are my rights?

Hey,
I'm looking for some advice on what my options are. I purchased a Samsung Galaxy Watch from Currys PC World in September 2018, and have been using it ever since. However, after a couple of months of wear the altimeter starts to get very screwy and record that fact that I'm climbing way more staircases than I actually am - the largest number of flights of stairs in a single day has been north of 250!
I've had the watch repaired three times by Samsung already, and it's just recently started playing up again. I've contacted Samsung and they are proposing another repair (the fourth one in less than two years). I'm a bit fed up of this continuous cycle of failure and repair, and am wondering if I have any recourse with Currys PC World to either get a full or partial refund mainly because it keeps on failing.
I paid for it on my Mastercard - pretty sure it was my credit card and not a debit card, but I don't have any information to confirm this other than the receipt that simply says Mastercard.
Any suggestions?
Thanks,
Andy

The problem is that by going to Samsung instead of the retailer, you have been claiming under the warranty rather than under the Consumer Rights Act.
You need to go to the retailer, but as it is now over 6 months old you will need to prove that it was inherently faulty. They would have had one chance to repair it, and you could have then rejected it when it failed again.
Your contract is with Currys.Should've = Should HAVE (not 'of')
Would've = Would HAVE (not 'of')
No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)0 -
How will vendor treat after four repairs not done by them ??

Perhaps OP can clarify whether for the first (or any) repairs they approached Currys before going to Samsung ... as said above consumer rights depend on the answer.0

Thanks for the posts so far - to clarify, I've only ever gone through Samsung for the repairs and not Curry's.
I guess I'm out of luck?0 -
No. You need to go back to Curry’s and tell them it is faulty. They get a chance to repair it. They will probably tell you to go through Samsung. But... as it has been so long you might be asked to get a report stating that it was inherently faulty.ukhack said:Thanks for the posts so far - to clarify, I've only ever gone through Samsung for the repairs and not Curry's.
