I booked a flat in Wembley for August, to go to an event at Wembley stadium, which has been cancelled, my parents were supposed to be going to, but they have been shielding, and even if its OK to travel don't want to risk it. I had to pay the full amount, but now I can't get a refund, is there another way to go about getting my money back?

Not if it was on a no cancellation basis .
If the flat is available then it's not their fault the concerts cancelled.
If you have annual travel insurance it may cover itEx forum ambassador

As above, if you booked a non-refundable rate and the property is available unfortunately you’re not entitled to a refund.0

I put in a cancellation request about 2 months ago, and coincidentally they've just replied saying they will cancel it with a full refund. 😁0
