Quidco Cashback Confirmed and not Paid

Hi,

I've generally had a great experience with Quidco, with almost £2000 notched up. When I make a major purchase I check it, and my first mortgage was no different.

I'd chosen the deal, but got it through a broker, through Quidco, rather than going direct purely for the £450 cashback. In January 2020 the sale completed, and in March the broker confirmed the cashback.

My usual experience is that the cashback can be immediately withdrawn, but it wasn't available in my account. I contacted Quidco and they said the retailer has confirmed the cashback, but not actually handed the money over, and they were chasing payment. I've chased Quidco every couple of months, but I just get copy and pasted answers. I have no faith that they're doing anything about this - or what they're doing continues to not work four months after the cashback was confirmed.

Whilst usually you'd write off missed cashback as 'would have been nice to have', in this case it's such a large sum I'd appreciate people's input on how I can get it paid.

Thanks,

I'm still waiting for them to pay from July 2019.

These things take time, but ultimately all you can do is chase them - regardless of the amount, cash back is ONLY ever a ‘nice to have’ and not a sure thing.
