Wireless HDMI

Hi.
we have just moved into a new house and have had Virgin Media installed. We want to wall mount our TV and not have any cables running down the walls. I was considering a wireless HDMI from the VM box to the TV. The distance would be less than 3 metres. Does anyone have a good suggestion for a product?
Also, I’m considering to do the same to another TV in the dining room off the VM box. Distance of about 5 metres and through a wall, is this possible and what equipment should I use?

Does exist but not particularly cheap, three figure sum seems around the norm. Depends whether you want to spend the money.

Why the issues of cableless v putting the cable in the wall? The receiver (and tv) will need power, how are you doing that without cables?0

Either chase the cables into the wall or use something like DLine Trunking to make it look neat and out of sight.Drinking Rum before 10am makes you

We had a wireless HDMI setup in one of our conference rooms at work. Long story short, it was a bloody nightmare and never worked well. Thankfully now ripped out and replaced with HDMI over ethernet.
It may have changed as this was a few years ago but there didn't seem to be a standard for wireless HDMI. Every vendor could do their own thing.1 -
Wireless stuff never works well. What's on the other side of the wall?Either drill through and run the cable down the other side of the wall, or, if that would upset the neighbours, get someone to make a conduit in the wall down to the bottom. If you've got a huge TV, it can be easier to install a small conduit up to the ceiling and run the cables that way.Changing the world, one sarcastic comment at a time.0
