Have just applied for a bounce back loan for my company with hsbc using the feeder account application but have been turned down stating that a credit check using experian did not qualify my Ltd company for the loan we have been established 12 yrs. So much for a credit file not influencing an application!! Anyone would think china were pulling strings to stop uk growing in retaliation over hongkong?

The Credit Check will have applied to the account opening unfortunately.
This is distinct from the loan application
Did you not have a Bank account already for a company established for 12 years?

Whilst you are not credit scored for a BBL, you are credit scored for a feeder account.

Why are you not applying with the bank with your business banking account?   That is so much easier.  

As an established limited company of 12 years, you should have a proper business account .

HSBC retail banking is British.
