Amex Credit to bank account possible?

Just got a refund for flights so my account is in credit by quite a bit, its on an Amex platinium everyday card, is there anyway to transfer the credit to a normal bank account?

Brillant, I was searching for transfers, didnt think of it as a refund.

Hmmmm this is on the american site, I found this though:

Yes you can request it be transferred - it takes between 5-10 days.

You call them to organise it. If it’s more than £500 you have to upload a copy of your bank statement or debit card with the account number and sort code. They email you a link to the document upload section of their website to do this.

I requested a return of a refund of just under £1k earlier this month. They didn't ask me for proof of my bank account. I assume this is because these requests have become a lot more common recently.
