    I saw one of the big chefs make this yesterday on tv and it looked lovely, he used 2pints of custard and 1lb of xmas pudding then just mix them up until small pieces and put in your ice cream maker HTH

    Think i've heard that Phil Vickery is making Christmas Pudding (or cake :undecided ) ice cream on This Morning today.

    Thought I'd let you all know I made the ice cream at the end of last week. I used the Ben & Jerrys sweet base mix and then added the 'extras' from the first recipe listed by Dusty Moth. I have to rate this a complete success. Absolutely delicious. Cheers for all the help offered in this thread.
