PCN for parking in allocated space

Options
Hi everyone
Recently moved into a new place (rented) with a adjoining car park apparently controlled by UKPC.
Parked up in my allocated space and returned the next day to a ticket stuck to the windscreen for £100 - left a note on the dash saying that as per the terms of my contact, I have the authority to park in this space, left my phone number on there in case they wanted proof. Next day, nothing; day after, noting; day number four as I'm on the way out the house, it seems that whoever was on patrol that day (the parking attendant numbers are different) had slapped me with the same parking ticket I got the first time.
Spoke to my landlord who said I'd need to get a permit (despite the fact that it says nothing in my tenancy agreement, and they gave me the fob thing to access the private carpark - its got a shuttered entrance), so now I've got one - problem is, I've also got the potential of £200 coming out for parking in the space allocated to me in the terms of my agreement.
I've read through the newbies FAQs and think I know what to do, but just wondering if anyone could let me know what steps they think I should take.
Cheers!

Cancellation by the landowner or managing agent or landlord , plan A , is number one priority here , kill it from the beginning , check what the owner or landlord has agreed to

Putting notes on the vehicle won't stop the PCN,s

Appeal as keeper using the blue text template from the newbies FAQ sticky thread near the top of the forum to ukpc within the timeframes , possibly waiting for the ntk , or appealing on day 25 as keeper to the windscreen PCN

Everything you need to know is in that thread , so all the regulars here will just tell you to follow that advice , because we are all in agreement with it

If a permit is required , the landlord should have provided it

You simply wait till day 26 if these are UKPC windscreen PCNs - the NEWBIES thread tells you how to appeal on day 26 as keeper.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

What does your lease/AST say about parking? Does it mention the need to display a permit? then it may take primacy over the self serving TnC of the scammer, and interfere with your lawful right to “quiet enjoyment” of your property, possible an offence under The Landlord and Tenants Acts.

Nine times out of ten these tickets are scams, so consider complaining to your MP., it can cause the scammer extra costs and work, and in some cases, cancellation.

Parliament is well aware of the MO of these private parking companies, many of whom are former clampers, and on 15th March 2019 a Bill was enacted to curb the excesses of these shysters. Codes of Practice are being drawn up, and an independent appeals service will be set up,

Hopefully life will become impossible for the worst of these scammers, but until this is done you should still complain to your MP, citing the new legislation.

Just as the clampers were finally closed down, so hopefully will many of these Private Parking Companies.
