every mobile i buy breaks!!!!! and the store won't help!!!

what is it with a certain mobile manufacturer whose name begins with n and ends in okia, that renders them so darn incapable of making a nice looking phone THAT ****** WORKS !!!!!! :mad: :mad: :mad: :mad:
and why is every mobile phone shop filled with shop assistants from hell, who make you feel about 1 inch tall when you fork out £30 on your contract that pays their wages and they talk to you like you don't know about phones???

well matey i do, the local mobile phone company call centre (owned by a certain company that sponsors a football team that plays at highbury) would be tripping over themselves to hire me, but i won't go because i know how unreliable their technology is.

now i am stuck using a nokia 3310 that i bought second hand about 9 million years ago off someone at work who now lives in spain (shows how long we've had it) because my 6230 is in for repair YET AGAIN, i asked for a different phone in exchange, it's my second one and i csn't even get onto the network. i can't even send or recieve messages 'cos it took it upon itself to **** up my message centre number! :eek:

To their credit they gave me a courtesy phone that worked (almost), trouble is it is the slowest phone in history!!!! sagem my-v65, i had a my-v75 before and that was never this slow at typing text, it's always one or two words behind my typing- even the old 3310 can keep up! i might take it back yet!

next time i want a phone, pretty soon methinks, i'm going to buy the thing outright from asda or somewhere, at least then if it breaks all you need is your till reciept and if you want a refund you get one

and they talk to you with a bit of respect :j

at least they do where i go :j

and by the way, the unhelpful store is vodafone retail, won't name the branch.

personally, Vodafone, in my experience is the worst customer service out of them all and I have been with them all, Orange, so far have been top of my list for all things, really quality service.

well i have had contracts with voda (3rd one with them) and t-mobile.
just got off the phone with head office, spoke to one of their senior customer service staff (account manager?) and they are sending me a replacement reconditioned 6230 (same model as i have) and are giving me a £10 bill credit.

becoming really let down by all these hi-tech phones, i love my gadgets but they just all break on me.
might sell it to one of those dodgy mobile phone stalls on my town's market and buy a new nokia 1100?

That is why I hate Nokias. I always said I wouldn't own one, but then I saw the £5/month 3 deal. But I still hate it!
