Money Save Solutions PPI reclaim

My parents started a PPI reclaim with Money Save Solutions back in 2016. In February this year we received a phone call to say that a refund amount had been identified. I did not proceed with that call at the time as my father had recently passed away. Now that I'm sorting through his files I've found the original documentation for Money Save Solutions and called the number provided, which is no longer in use. After a bit of digging I've found that the company went into liquidation and have sourced another company who took over some of their files but not their PPI work. Does anyone know who is now handling PPI claims for this company and how I can move this forward?

If you know who your parents had PPI with, you could speak direct to the lender. But it doesn't sound as if there was any mis selling complaint actually made, let along upheld.
The claims company tells you that to allow you to then proceed with the complaint. If the complaint had been made, your parents would have received a letter from the bank acknowledging the complaint and a letter telling them the outcome and providing them with the proceeds.
If they didnt get a letter from the bank, its likely no complaint was ever made.
