Easyjet Booking

Hi looking for advice on my EasyJet flight booking. Due to fly on 28th of June but the place we where going to is closed. Couldn’t cancel as would only get refunded the government tax. So tried to change the flight today and it is costing us £550 more on top of what we paid. If I book a completely new flight it is still £500 cheaper. Spent an hour and half on phone waiting to be connected to EasyJet but gave up! Is they anything I can do?

Assuming you mean 28th July?
Your only option would be travel insurance if you have it. EasyJet are only obliged to provide the flight which currently they can do so they won’t refund and highly unlikely they will offer anything else.1
