Falsely reported address through Electoral Roll - Experian credit score unavailable

Hi,
I've tried searching for a thread and couldn't find anything that would help me resolve my particular problem.
Experian are currently holding incorrect information on my previous addresses. It is reported that I lived at my previous address and was not on the electoral roll (which is incorrect), and also reported that I lived at another incorrect address and was on the electoral roll (which is also incorrect).
The two addresses are similar, one is a flat and the other is not.
This is preventing me from receiving a credit score from Experian and also from obtaining a credit card. I am planning to buy my first home and am concerned this will get in the way of getting a mortgage.
I have downloaded my statutory credit report and contacted Experian about the issue however feel like the steps to rectify this aren't being made.
If anyone has had a similar scenario with a successful outcome, I would love to know how this came about. Is this a problem with Experian or my previous council, or both?

Experian will review the issue and should resolve it.
You don't need a credit score from Experian or anyone else, for credit. They're not a factor in lending. Your file is all that's needed.
You'll probably be able to get a card from a lower tier lender without being on the ER, though if you're planning on a mortgage, I'm surprised you don't already have at least a couple.
Check your other files to see if the same error occurs.0
