Can my car battery recharge or a new one???

Just to add my tuppenceworth.
Yes, i'd try to recharge it. You'll know after a day or two if the car starts to get lazy when starting from cold, or doesnt start.
If it happens again, then to me you're in to the realms of flogging a dead horse and i'd just replace the battery.
I've had similar in my car. Did the above and the car was fine for a couple of days, then got lazy at starting so i bit the bullet and got a new battery fitted. Problem solved

Get yourself a smart charger , they are excellent for recharging dead batteries .
Aldi and Lidl do them for around £13 a couple of times a year and that is excellent value0 -
I also do recommend a smart charger but I myself wouldn't go for cheap ones like those, check out Ctek smart chargers, During lockdown I just left it connected without any concern,I swear it's brought my old battery back to life, before it was draining pretty fast if left stood for a week now its holding its charge very well.Homer_home said:Get yourself a smart charger , they are excellent for recharging dead batteries .
