Car Insurance increase by £2,000 at different address

Hi guys, I’m experiencing something very strange! I am 22 years old and I am getting car insurance quotes because I plan on moving house soon and don’t want to move somewhere where my premiums will increase too much. At my current house I am getting quotes for £1,200 through different comparison websites with Hastings direct, and a couple other companies. I put the address of a new house in, and it increases to over £3,000! So I thought I would try something. I changed the address to a different street on my estate (literally a 30 second walk away) Same thing! A jump to £3,000. It appears on the comparison websites, Hastings will only insure me on the street I currently live on?
Can anyone suggesting anything at all, or will I need to sell my pride and joy if I want to move out!
thanks
thanks

It may be less the address itself, and more the fact that they can't find you on the electoral roll (or other registers) at the new address. Hence they may be concerned that you're declaring a false address to get a cheaper premium, and pricing to reflect that worry.(I'd ask what happens if you put in next door's address, but you might not fancy doing that after the next thing I'm going to say...)This is likely to be particularly true if they see you getting quotes for lots of different addresses - maybe you're trying to work out which is the cheapest to falsely declare? If so, they're certainly not going to want to insure you.(I'm not suggesting that this is what you're doing of course, just that it's how it might look from the other end.)1
