ASOS dispute

On the 04/07/2020 I was supposed to receive a parcel containing £140 worth of goods. I received a text to say the delivery was scheduled between 11.28-12.28. I knew I wasn't going to be in so I redirected it to a neighbour.
Later that day when I got home I knocked on my neighbours door who told me she hadn't had anything.....I then contacted ASOS asking if there was a delay?
Since then I have sent several emails over different ways, FB messenger/twitter and chat. Every option taking days to reply.
Where I am today.....DPD have closed the investigation as the driver location was in my area on the day, and the update says delivered to BOX.
I asked DPD to request the driver to come to my property to tell me where he delivered it to, so today he did that and he confirmed he couldn't remember where he delivered it to but confirmed it wasn't to me. I asked him if he could take me where he had delivered it and he said no. He just didn't know!
I spoke to DPD following him coming and told her what he said and she said he'd confirmed he defiantly gave it to a lady?? so changed his mind later! I asked for the photographic evidence of where the parcel was delivered and apparently on that day his Saturn machine wasn't working!
I asked him if he was in my area on that day delivering other items and he said yes 4! SO in fact the GPRS they have is because he was in my area delivering other items!
BOTH DPD and ASOS have closed this case! Please can someone tell me where I stand?

Who's the retailer? They hold responsibility for the item until it's in your position. Don't waste your time running around with DPD, go back to whoever you bought the item from and take it up with them.0

As the OP nominated the neighbour and DPD now state that the goods were passed to that person, getting ASOS to do anything might not be too easy and a chargeback or other dispute could well encounter a similar problem.1 -

Would the possession rule still stand though? It seems it wasn't delivered safely to the nominated recipient, either. There's always the chance that the neighbour isn't being honest, I suppose.0
