Firstly apologies if there is and existing thread.
I would lik sum advice please
We are scheduled to fly out on the 24th August to Turkey and has not been cancelled.
I would lik to cancel as we paid for a holiday that we will not get anymore with all the potential restrictions at the hotel and at the airport due to covid 19.
Easy jet holidays said they can refund 40% cash back or get a full refund as a form of credit.
I am not happy with either, what can I do.

if you want a cash refund you need to hold off and hope the holiday gets cancelled or see if your travel insurance covers the reason you no longer wish to travel

If you're choosing to cancel then you're at the mercy of their cancellation policy, so if that effectively gives you 40% back then that's as good as it's going to get, although a full-value credit is obviously worth more if you're likely to be rebooking with them.  You could wait until closer to the time and see if one or more of the flights is cancelled or if the hotel is closed (have you made any independent enquiries?), which would require them to refund you, but if it's your choice to cancel then that's regarded as disinclination to travel and the provider has no obligation to you....
  • Thank you so much. I have enquired directly with the hotel, they are not looking to re-open until next year. Can easy jet holidays offer me a different hotel and would I have to accept this
