Has anyone got FD app cheque deposit to work?

I've got the FirstDirect app on my android phone, an I've been trying to use the cheque deposit facility. I enter the amount, take a photo of the front, then get prompted to take a picture of the back. That seems to work, but it then throws me back to the "enter cheque amount" bit. I've tied about 10 times, same result. Obviously I can ring FirstDirect, but wondered if there was any point - does it work for anyone else?
