Viewings & offers stats?

Options
I put my home up for sale earlier this week, and on the first day of viewings my EA sent me an "analysis" to indicate how things were going. A bit meaningless after 1 day, but it got me curious as to if there were stats out there on how many viewings houses typically get in the first x days, what percentage of those come back with offers, and how these numbers correlate with eventual sale price (% below or above asking) and number of days to accepted offer.

We’re in the same boat - although been on the market for 6 weeks now and only had 3 viewings.

I think the numbers will be a bit off at the moment as we’ve had a lot of people do our virtual tour, who in the past would have probably come to look physically.

Usually takes about 12 viewings to sell, apparently, so looking like we’ll be a while yet!

Post a link on here to your online property details and watch the figures of people viewing the details rapidly increase!

I think that lot of people are window shopping but waiting to see what happens to property prices over the next few months

Interesting, thanks. I've got 11 viewings booked so far for the first week. 4 done already, 1 low ball offer, another serious expression of interest.

I just don't know what's normal. Is your experience especially bad, mine especially good, or perhaps even both are bad and successful properties do even better with viewings?

I think that’s quite high to be honest. I also imagine it’s different in different regions - we’re in Berkshire which seems slow at the moment.

Very jealous of your interest though!
