App Based Banks Stealing money

This is my situation - all three banks have gone silent. I'm about to lose £1200. Can anybody help?
MONESE - Owed £750
I was banking with Monese bank. App based. No hassel at all.
A "friend" sent me £500 he owed me, subsequently that transaction was stopped and called back by the senders bank. Monese froze my account and subsequently terminated it!!!!! Leaving a balance of £750. The told me in an email these funds would be returned to a nominated bank within 28 working days. So I nominated my new bank - Hyperjar
HYPERJAR - Owed nothing
I started using hyperjar, again, nice and easy. Wages paid in, i notified them of government money coming in SEISS etc etc and that Monese would be sending an account closure balance.
I mistakenly sent My Friend Justin Swift my house rent! I transfered £500 to his account [I rent a car off him - so I hit "RENT" by mistake] and £500 landed in his account. Dozens suspended his account!!!! We have both contacted Dozens, and they told me I would have my money in 7 days. I haven't had anything and they have gone quiet.
Last week - Hyperjar terminated my account!!!!! For no reason
SO THIS LEAVES A £750 REFUND AND A £500 RETURN TO GO TO MY HYPERJAR ACCOUNT THAT HAS BEEN CLOSED!
Hyperjar have said they will contact me when these deposits are made. But have since gone quiet.
DOZENS - Owed £500
As per Hyperjar paragraph
SUMMERY
I have all supporting emails, contact details etc etc. I have even found private phone numbers and emails for CEO's etc etc.
2 sets of money - both "could" be sent to hyperjar, I don't know. Its the lack of coms - i'm scared as I'm reading web reviews and this is happening to 100's of people.
Any help is appreciated

So a "friend" sends you £500 and then you coincidentally need to send exactly £500 to someone else. Except in the system it is marked as rent even though it's not, and you do not usually send this amount of rent to that person. And coincidentally you rent a car off a friend (lol really?) and you have that saved in in your system and your banking as "rent" rather than noting it's for the car. When your first app-based account is frozen, you nominate another, app-based, non-bricks-and-mortar "bank" for your money.
I am not a financial expert and it all sounds like you're hiding things and doing money laundering or tax evasion and hiding your tracks etc. So I would imagine that both banks thought the same. I wouldn't be surprised if they are working together in regards to the original £500 and are not inclined to release the second lot either.
If you are honest, then I do hope I'm wrong and that you get your money back.8 -
erm - you not only are rude, you have also struggled to read the situation clearly.
If I was committing fraud why the hell would I post this on a national forum!!!!!!!
Are there any adults on here that can help me please?

I don't think you are being very objective here and it seems as if you don't like hearing honest opinions. This is a public forum and if you don't like responses, then don't post.
I'm telling you how it looks to a stranger. Someone's payment to you was stopped (was it dodgy? was it fraudulent? was he just a jerk?) and you might be completely blameless there. But it is a red flag to a bank. As far as the Monese story is concerned I would agree with you that that were hasty in closing the account if that's all that happened.
But there's a pattern, the same exact amount gets sent to someone else, to the wrong person, with the wrong description. Ok, mistakes happen, I've done it myself with four figures and it sucks. But that second app closes the account of your friend. Then a third account gets closed (yours). Three accounts all closed in connection with transfers made or received by you. The common factor is you. Who has that much bad luck? Nobody... something in your details has made all three banks think you are doing the wrong thing. Again I can't say that you are, I am telling you this is how it looks. Did they see something bizarre in all your other transactions? Are other transactions to and from someone or something shady or which looks odd? Because if you can't explain them you'll struggle to prove your innocence so you'd best have a look and a good hard think.1 -
Monese, Hyperjar and Dozens seem to be suspicious.mickysheehan said:erm - you not only are rude, you have also struggled to read the situation clearly.

What can you do? Sit back and wait.
Alternatively, file a complaint with the three, wait eight weeks, then plead your case to the FOS.1 -

No, no one can. The money is being held for regulatory reasons, you need to wait until you are contacted.
If there is no money laundering involved, you will eventually get the money back, but it can be a slow process, usually resolved in a few weeks but sometimes taking up to several months.
Concentrate on finding other sources of funds / banking facilities for now.

I agree with Johnnygee - there is nothing anybody on here can do and indeed nothing you can do other than every so often keep in touch with the banks concerned.
they will continue with their investigations and at the end they will either return the money to you or they will keep it depending on their findings
Once they have made their determinations you can either accept thier findings or of course you have the option to make a complaint.1 -
Whilst we do not have enough information to really assess the reasons for why all your accounts seem to get blocked, there is the possibility that some people who sent you money, and to whom you sent money, are under investigation.
What you can do is, as has already been mentioned, is to raise formal complaints and wait for responses. If you do not get satisfactory responses after 8 weeks, or after you have been sent a final, unsatisfactory, response by a company, you can take your complaint about the given company to the FOS and wait for a response from them. This could add several more weeks to your waiting.
You should also obtain your credit reference reports from all three CRAs, and also put a SAR request in to CIFAS. There is possibility that data held about you by the CRAs and/or CIFAS will hold clues about the issue.3 -

No one's stealing anything, you've hit the money laundering flags which each place have set up, they have to investigate before they can do anything else and they're not allowed to tell you why the accounts have been frozen / closed. All you can do is put in complaints and wait for the investigations to be over0

As I have stated above - why on earth would I post on a national forum if I was/had been??!!!!!!!!jjames1985 said:Stop committing fraud/being a money mule or acting like you are and your banking life will be a LOT easier. I'm sure you'll get your money back eventually if you stop being dodgy.
