App Based Banks Stealing money

oh the irony - theres one . . . .
Fraud indeed . . . . . .0 -
What you can do is, as has already been mentioned, is to raise formal complaints and wait for responses. If you do not get satisfactory responses after 8 weeks, or after you have been sent a final, unsatisfactory, response by a company, you can take your complaint about the given company to the FOS and wait for a response from them.
FOS will only consider complaints about the way it was handled. The OP could make a complaint about the fact they were told the money would be available in 7 days or the lack of communication, seeking compensation for any inconvenience caused (might get £50). But there's no point complaining about the money actually being frozen because that's nothing to do with FOS and complaints won't speed the timeline up.

I am often confused why people wish to make their everyday banking difficult to manage! I have had only one current account throughout my life, though I did walk from NW when they could the ncie girl could not get me a mortgage after uni.mickysheehan said:This is my situation - all three banks have gone silent. I'm about to lose £1200. Can anybody help?
MONESE - Owed £750
I was banking with Monese bank. App based. No hassel at all.
A "friend" sent me £500 he owed me, subsequently that transaction was stopped and called back by the senders bank. Monese froze my account and subsequently terminated it!!!!! Leaving a balance of £750. The told me in an email these funds would be returned to a nominated bank within 28 working days. So I nominated my new bank - Hyperjar
HYPERJAR - Owed nothing
I started using hyperjar, again, nice and easy. Wages paid in, i notified them of government money coming in SEISS etc etc and that Monese would be sending an account closure balance.
I mistakenly sent My Friend Justin Swift my house rent! I transfered £500 to his account [I rent a car off him - so I hit "RENT" by mistake] and £500 landed in his account. Dozens suspended his account!!!! We have both contacted Dozens, and they told me I would have my money in 7 days. I haven't had anything and they have gone quiet.
Last week - Hyperjar terminated my account!!!!! For no reason
SO THIS LEAVES A £750 REFUND AND A £500 RETURN TO GO TO MY HYPERJAR ACCOUNT THAT HAS BEEN CLOSED!
Hyperjar have said they will contact me when these deposits are made. But have since gone quiet.
DOZENS - Owed £500
As per Hyperjar paragraph
SUMMERY
I have all supporting emails, contact details etc etc. I have even found private phone numbers and emails for CEO's etc etc.
2 sets of money - both "could" be sent to hyperjar, I don't know. Its the lack of coms - i'm scared as I'm reading web reviews and this is happening to 100's of people.
Any help is appreciated
I gather OP may disappear into their jar of honey!
Edit
I note this hyperjar thing is a phone app that lets you be tracked while on trhe lash on a Friday night! I acnnot wait until someone comes along and says they were in this bar in Prague and somehow I spent £2,500 on plonk!

As I have stated above - why on earth would I post on a national forum if I was/had been??!!!!!!!!jjames1985 said:Stop committing fraud/being a money mule or acting like you are and your banking life will be a LOT easier. I'm sure you'll get your money back eventually if you stop being dodgy.
PS - takes one to know one!!!! I had no idea this stuff went on!!!! You obviously do!!!!!
And "takes one to know one" is your best retort?
I suppose since I know people kill other people that I must be a murderer too?i apologise for my lack of knowledge of your superior intellect . . . . .0 -

maybe you will be the one mis-typing on their keyboard as they do . . . . . if you are going to assume a missive of a person at least have the decency to not have spent "£2,500 on plonk" before you gaze longingly at the keys on your macbook . . . . .0 -
I can see why the OP has been riled by some of the comments here ( a lot of which look deliberately targeted at riling them, and then pretending it was only 'advice'). No one has any evidence the OP has committed fraud and yet they have been directly accused of it.
There is an important lesson for the OP - their behaviour is suspicious to banks, and if repeated will keep triggering account blockages. Transferring money in and out instantaneously, opening new accounts with app based banks etc will all increase the risk of sudden account closures. If only this could have been expressed nicely and helpfully, instead of in the form of accusations and insults, the OP would have a much better chance of learning from it.1
