Linked address

Hi all, here goes.. 

I was supposed to update my delivery address in my next account but actually updated the billing account. 

As a result I now have a linked address to the delivery addressed as next have reported this (checked on credit karma). I have today updated my account to my correct address which was on there previously. Will the linked address still stay? 

On clear score it’s showing as the account being closed because of the address so I’m worried will it now come up as new credit? 

I am close to exchanging contracts on a house and I’m petrified this will effect the final credit checks on the mortgage.

I had similar worries when I took out my first mortgage. My bank said as I was taking my mortgage out with them that my credit file would have very little impact on my mortgage and that even if that weren't the case linked addresses shouldn't affect a mortgage because it's mainly about affordability. It was over 5 years ago but I doubt it's changed.
