Opodo Refunds

I had a flight booked through Opodo with Asiana Airlines in April. Opodo informed me I had to wait 90 days for the refund, this has not happened and after contacting them I was told to contact the airline directly. I did this to be told by Asiana they had refunded Opodo at the end of June....Opodo deny they have received it. Can anyone please advise what my next action should be to ensure I receive my refund

    All you do is chase Opodo and remember not to book with them again! The problem with all online agents is the lack of staff to deal with situations like this, the refund will have been processed through a scheme called BSP which operates twice a month, on the 15th and 30th of the month to collect and refund money from agents. I can imagine it could easily take a month for this to reach the top of the pile, Opodo works in numerous countries, chasing may make it a little quicker.

    I won’t be dealing with Opodo again after I get my refund for a return ticket to Sydney. There’s a lesson to be learnt not to book with a third party agent regardless how much cheaper they were compared to booking with the airline directly (£80 pp). I’ve jumped through all the hoops and obstacles they’ve asked me to go through, and I still don’t have my money back. 
  • Always quick to take your money, a company should be judged by there refunds.....Opodo are appalling. I think I may go down the chargeback route!!!
  • still waiting for holiday booked in March.   Credit card co will now take over our claim.   Will never book with Opodo again.   Shocking service.  Never known anything like them.

    All these cheap shonky online agents are the same - they all need avoiding. 
    Waiting for a reply for 30 days (or might be more now...) with Netflights and still no reply.
