Leicester lockdown - Ryan Air refund/voucher

Hi guys
Sorry if this question has already been answered before.
If you are unable to fly out for your holiday due to living within the boundaries of the Leicester lockdown, are Airlines (particularly Ryan Air) obliged to give you a voucher?
Thank you!

I booked a holiday flight and hotel and i have been refunded the hotel part. It looks as though the holiday company are offsetting their booking fee on the cost of the flight refund - is this allowed - or should i get the whole amount back?

No they are not. Either change the date on the tickets (which attracts a cost), go and take the flights anyway (nobody is checking every car going in and out), dont take them and lose the money, or dont take them and attempt a travel insurance claim.  All of that assumes they dont cancel first.

No, it's not Ryanair's fault that a local lockdown has happened - they're not responsible.
Check to see if you're covered by travel insurance.

The airline is still flying.  You need to check with your travel insurance provider to see if you are covered.
