Redundancy pay if taking other employment whilst furloughed

 I am currently furloughed pending redundancy in August. I know I am allowed to take other employment whilst furloughed but if I did find another job before the redundancy date, would I lose my payout? * note * I would still be available to work for my existing employer with their 48 hour notice policy, (although I 100% know this won’t be happening)  so in no way shape or form would I be resigning.

In that case you are fine, providing your employer lets you have a 2nd job. As in some contracts you can't work for other employers. So need to check that.

Well luckily I already have a second job, which my main employer already knows about as my manager gave me a reference for it, so I guess it’s not  in my contract (actually never looked) but if it was then I would have to claim the point against him in some way 🤷‍♀️
Which I really hope I don’t have too but the proof is there in my tax records 👍

I doubt your current employer will care too much, especially if they gave you a reference for your other job.

As you do not intend to leave your employment before your termination date, you should be OK
