EasyJet Refund ... after flight changed?

Hello, i had a flight cancelled by easyJet in May for an event which was rescheduled to September 2020. Then we decided to change the flight for free to the new rescheduled date.

However today the event has been cancelled due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic therefore we no longer need to go, are we able to apply for a refund with easyJet given we have changed the date of the flight already?

    If you cancel the flight because you don’t want to go any longer this is disinclination to travel and you will lose any monies paid to easyJet.
