Furloughed pending redundancy

I am currently furloughed pending redundancy in Aug. I know I am allowed to take other employment whilst furloughed, but if I did before The redundancy date would I lose my payout? Note* I would still be available to work for my existing employer with their 48hr notice policy so in no way would I be resigning.

It should have no effect on your redundancy, so long as it is not forbidden in your current contract of employment.1
