I think I posted this in the wrong thread so reposting: After a disastrous attempt at trying to move our holiday ( no response to our messages from LH, unable to contact them etc) we felt we had no option but to cancel as we had weighed up the risks to our health and felt it would be too stressful, so did not want to go on holiday.  We could see LH were going to take the balance despite all the messages requesting to move the holiday. Reluctantly paid cancellation charge most of which was made up of the flights. Not a great outcome as felt pushed into doing this as no other option. Tonight I have an email from Easyjet still showing our flights! Now unable to get through to Easyjet to tell them flights already cancelled through LH....never again. Pulling my hair out and worried we are now going to be charged by Easyjet- looks as if Love Holidays have not cancelled our flights...

  • Margaret if I remember correctly you cancelled your 'package' holiday on-line and Love Holidays were showing the whole holiday as cancelled?   Relax.  The email is likely a generic email from Easyjet as the info probably hasn't filtered through yet.   Everything and everyone is slow as they are dealing with thousands of peoples' requests.

Love holidays is your agent , they booked the flights , they paid for them so any issues lie with them and not you

I shouldn't worry about it. easyJet flights are non refundable so they might not even bother cancelling them. There's no penalty for not turning up.

Thank you all for your responses, was feeling stressed when I posted! Was also thinking other people may have done the same thing and wondered how they got on.
