Thai Airways August flights cancelled

Thai Airways currently say 6 months for a refund, is this considered acceptable or is it worth a chargeback/section 75?
Our flights were for the 12th of August, and I paid via Amex.

I did a dispute for theatre tickets and got the money back immediately on Amex. The money was then charged back once the refund came in.0

Thai have not been refunding, they are fundamentally bankrupt, so waste no time and make a claim against Amex, they re-credit usually within a week. If its chargecard section 75 won't work as there is no credit, but chargeback will so start there0

Thanks, I made a claim and Amex have credited my account, not sure if I can transfer the money some how but its better then waiting 6 months.
