Cosyroof were also a contender for me but I had no problem getting them to do the test on someone else's work. It was 3 years ago but seem to remember they were the only company recognised to do the test by Building Control at the time.
Very interesting to see how many complaints posted regarding Northern Ireland companies that do “clad over” conservatory roofing. I live in Co Antrim and had my roof done over 4years ago with no building controls load test completed despite b.c application being submitted by the contractor. Frequent email’s,calls, letters not replied to so in the process of taking it to the small claims court. I don’t see any alternatives,no one seems interested in carrying out a load test on another contractors work. Would really like to know if we all used the same company but realise its not possible to go” public “ on this forum. Any suggestions welcome.
Moved to NI last year and now caught in this trap! Company replaced a polycarbonate roof to faux tile roof on advice from surveyor before buying house. Been a year and initially promised a load test, now they are ignoring all contact. Wouldn't be surprised if they've changed name. Like you, interested if it was the same company.
