Help and advice please... We are due to fly on 31st July 2020 flights cost approx £1400 for family of 4
On Tui app it has said throughout and even today on their app... . 

Can I change my booking with TUI fly?

For all TUI fly flights already booked and all new bookings, with a departure date not later than 31 August 2020, you can change on a one-time basis the date and/or destination of your flight free of charge until 7 days prior to departure, provided that the new date of departure is not later than 31 March 2021

So we have called repeatedly to be told that we can't change to different flights this October 2020 without incurring additional costs of a further £1200 (the new flights actually cost less than the £1400 we have already spent) 
There are 5 families all in similar situations and we have all called and getting told different versions of this even though clearly states on the Tui app we can.... 
If the customer service people are challenged and told it's on app they hang up, if we ask for supervisor they hang up! 

Help please!!!

It may be a fee free change but if the flights cost more, they cost more.
